An extraordinary investment opportunity.

Investment Opportunities

Keswick Island is a development and investment opportunity of unparalleled natural beauty.

A unique island

Keswick Island is a natural paradise boasting sheltered bays of incredible beauty, high vantage points with 360-degree views, lush forests and craggy outcrops. It is the last island in Australia’s Great Barrier Reef – one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World – that has planning approval for a large-scale development and is possibly the last substantial marina that will be approved in the region. A significant portion of the island is designated national park, which will prevent over-development and underlines its ecological credentials.

Location & access

Keswick Island is located 32km off the coast of Mackay, Queensland (the gateway to the Southern Whitsunday Islands).  The island boasts an enviable location for both lifestyle and tourism.

Location

For lifestyle, the island’s sub-tropical location is perfect for leisure – a comfortable climate, white sands and fringing coral reef, vibrant marine life, national parks and tropical rainforest.

For tourism, the island is perfectly located to service tourism operations, being only 60km from the spectacular outer Great Barrier Reef, plus the proximity to Mackay provides convenience for services to support tourism operations.

Access

From Mackay, Keswick Island can be reached in 15 minutes via plane, and 45 minutes via boat.

Mackay Airport is serviced by Qantas and Virgin airlines, with direct flights from Sydney (2.5hrs), Brisbane (1.5hrs) and Cairns (2.0hrs).  Mackay Marina offers 450+ berths for both leisure and commercial vessels.
